When you leave the desk and/or finish using the file, you can lock it without shutting down the program.
To lock the file, click the "Lock" button on the toolbar or use the same command from the File menu:
If the file is locked and you want to unlock it, you can do this the same way you locked the file - just click on the checked "Lock" button on the toolbar. To unlock and access the information, you will be asked to enter the database file password, of course.
You do not have to worry if you forget the file open, because it is locked automatically after unused for some time. The "lock after idle" time can be changed in the program options. By default the file is locked after 5 minutes unused.
