Organizing icons and selection lists

Icons

 

Each entry and folder in your file can have an icon. When you open entry detail window, at right of its title field (Account or Name), you can see a small drop down button. When you click on it, the menu appears from where you can select the icon you like. When creating a new folder, or editing old one, you will see a separate field for selecting the icon.

 

By default when you create a new database file it already has a set of icons ready for you. But you can change this list. For this, open the File menu and select "Organize Icon List". The window appears where you can add new icons, or delete them from the list. When adding new icons, the file has to be in BMP or ICO file format. The default size used for the icon is 16 x 16 pixels.

 

Selection list values

 

In several places in the program you can select pre-typed text with your mouse instead of typing it. This is faster if you want to use similar values in some fields on a lot of entries. For example you can have pre-made selections for entry description field, with values "Email account", "Personal account" or "Business account".

 

To add and manage those selection values, open the File menu and select "Organize Selection Lists". When you add or edit a selection record, you can point out on which field the value should be available for selection, and what exactly should be the selectable value.

 

You can edit and delete available selections at any time. When you edit or delete some of the selections, the text already selected to the entries will remain unchanged and is also not removed. If you want this, you need to edit these records and remove or change the values manually.
