What is a backup task |
Top Previous Next |
Backup task is a job description to the program. It shows what information, when, and to where you would like to back up.
You can create different backup tasks so that managing your backups would be easier. For example, you might want to make backups from your e-mails every day but only once per week from other documents. Having different backup tasks allows you to use different schedules and other options when backing up your information.
Also, in most cases having many smaller backups (tasks) is better than one large backup (task) of your data. Usually restoring smaller backups is easier and faster, should you need some or all files from your backup. The same applies to creating large files - usually creating many smaller backups is faster than one large backup.
Backup tasks can be added and edited by using the toolbar buttons or the Edit menu.
